Useful Made builds its own software products. We are small, self-directed, and accountable only to the people who use what we make.
01 What we are
We design and build software products end to end, and release them under our own name. We are not an agency. We do not take on client work, and we do not build to order. Everything we make is something we chose to make.
That independence is the point. It lets us move at the pace the work needs, keep our products simple, and say no to almost everything — including good ideas — so that the few things we ship can be excellent.

No briefs, no clients, no roadmap handed to us. We build what we believe should exist, and take full responsibility for it.

The people who rely on our products are the only audience that matters. Their trust is the thing we protect.

Growth is not the goal. Lasting, careful work is. We would rather stay small and get it right.
03 Founding
Useful Made was founded by Rajat Kashyap.
It began with a simple frustration: too much software gets in its own way. The company exists to do the opposite — to build a small catalogue of tools that are genuinely useful, and to keep them that way over time. That mission matters more here than any one person, and it is what the work is measured against.
